What is the Animal Care Foundation?
The Animal Care Foundation is a non-profit organization providing one-time, partial financial assistance for emergency or specialty veterinary care from VRCC to low income Colorado residents.
While there are programs providing spay/neuters, exams, and vaccinations to the needy, the Animal Care Foundation’s mission is to help with cases involving more complicated issues that require the expertise of a VRCC specialist or emergency doctor.
The Animal Care Foundation either donates a nominal amount to be applied against the bill of a client or when sufficient funds exist, up to 40% of the estimated charges. In these cases, qualifying clients are still required to pay for 40% of the estimated care plan and the veterinarian deducts 20% off their normal charges. Meeting needs of others requires the help of many. Your help is greatly appreciated.
